- How do I post an NZB File?
- Easy. There is a link at the top of the site, or:
http://nzbmatrix.com/nzb-upload.php
If you want to become a regular NZB poster we have several methods of bulk uploading to the site
- Are there download limits?

- We currently enforce a 10 NZBs per 24hrs limit for non-vip members.
The download counters are updated every hour.
Partial NZBs, and NZBs downloaded using the Queue system also count towards your limit
** For VIPs we have implemented a high usage cap, this is done for several reasons. Its is VERY unlikley that you will ever see this cap.
- Do you provide SSL connection to the site?

- YES! Its not 100% completed yet, so you may have some "This page contains insecure items"
This is due to external images loading (banners and logos)
SSL Address

- Whats The Banned Posting List?

- The complete banned list is displayed on the NZB upload page at the top and withing the Site Rules page
- Why isn't adult content listed on the site?
- We like to think of NZBMatrix as a site anyone can visit, any age, without restrictions.
We have moved all adult content to our FREE sister site
http://nzbxxx.com
(you will have to re-register, as the two sites do not share any user information)
- I like the site. How do I Subscribe to VIP
- What are the VIP benefits?
- I uploaded an NZB but it's not listed. How come?
- The main home page is updated every 10 minutes, and todays/yesterdays is updated every hour.
If these pages updated in real time, the strain on the server would be tremendous.
Your upload should show instantly within the category browse pages and the search facility
- Why are NZBs downloaded as ZIP archives?
- NZBs are only in ZIP archives for non-VIP users.
This is because the cost of bandwidth would be too great for ALL our users to be downloading the 1MB+ files.
Again, this hinderance is only for non-VIP users.
However, to sweeten the deal, if the NZB has an NFO, the NFO will be included in the ZIP.
VIP members can also download as ZIPs if the member so chooses.
- How do I download partial NZBs?

- This is a new feature and is VIP only.
If you are a VIP member you will see a link within the "File Details" section of the NZB information page, once you click this link you will see all the files within the NZB.
Simply tick what files you require and click generate NZB.
You can also select a RANGE, NFOs only, PARs only etc.
- Can I advertise on NZBMatirx?
- Does NZBMatrix have an RSS/XML Feed?
- Is there an iRC Channel or Chat Room??

- We do have a official IRC channel:
Server: irc.p2p-network.net
Channel: #NZBMatrix.chat
We also announce every NZB posted in #NZBMatrix
You can either connect using MiRC or via the Java Chat client on this site:
http://nzbmatrix.com/irc.php
- How often is this site updated?
- Daily. Pretty much. The admins of NZBMatrix aren't like admins of other sites. They actually visit the site and look for ways to improve it, all the time!
The admins have completely engineered the code that NZBMatrix uses, and are not using code that someone else has designed. They've created a fully working website and are continually improving it to make NZBMatrix.com the best and easiest to use NZB indexing site on the internet.
- What are those little flags?
- The flags besides NZB filenames are representitive the contents' audio language or software interface language.
English files have a British Flag and so on. If there is no language, it is best to read the description of the file and assume it is in English.
VIP members have the ability to sort by language and to show only a certain language.
- What are those icons in the listings?
- We have several "Information" icons. These are as folows:
NTSC/PAL/FREE
- This is used mainly for games, and lets you know the region it will work with. FREE should only be used for games that are region free.
[img=http://nzbmatrix.com/images/camera.gif]
- If the uploader has attached a image to the NZB, hover your mouse over the camera to display the image
[img=http://nzbmatrix.com/images/weblink.gif]
- If the uploader has added a link to the upload, clicking this will redirect you to that link. This is usually a review or manufacturer
[img=http://nzbmatrix.com/images/nfo.gif]
- If the uploader has included a .nfo Clicking this icon will open the .nfo
[img=http://nzbmatrix.com/images/imdb_small.gif]
- If the uploader has included a IMDB link, this icon will show. Clicking this icon will open the IMDB page.
- Why are there ads on the site?
- We have ads on the site because we need them to help cover server costs. Running a large Usenet indexer such as this becomes very costly.
Remember if your a VIP member, you can opt to disable the adverts in "Your Account"
- Why does it keep asking me to login?
- This site uses cookies to hold your login information.
Firstly make sure you are accessing the site with
http://nzbmatrix.com (note no
www.) as this is the preferred url
If it still asks you to login, please ensure that your browser is accepting the cookie, mostly this is due to your privacy settings.
- How do I use the search?
- We have created a dedicated page to help you with search queries
here
Please also note that you can change the order results are displayed. The default is Age(newest first), however you can also order by relevance.
It is also advised that you enter a minimum of 4 characters.
- How do I change my password?
- What does "Your Retention" posted in the left column refer to.

- This refers to Site retention which is the amount of time nzbs are retained on our servers.
Don't get this mixed up with usenet retention which is the amount of time binaries are kept on your news providers servers.
